Thanks for the informative article. Many of the resources are new to me. I have a novel idea of teaching English through correspondence. My game plan is simple. I am going to float an ad in the newspapers and invite students to join my Learn at home course. I already have prepared the study material including audio and videos. The course is divided into 30 odd lessons accompanied by tests. On attempting the tests satisfactorily, the student would be awarded a certificate. The fee for each lesson is Rs. 100/- and the audio and video CDs are offered free. I also intend to offer franchisee to desirous jobless English Teachers. I reckon, this would create employment for many.
